I Thought This Was Forever
The artist needs you to know that these works are not perfect, but the lack of perfection is a necessary element in this process. The destruction of Mount Stromlo from the 2013 bushfires marked the beginning of inevitable growth and discovery. Through the methodical unrestrained destruction of four zinc plates, I Thought This Was Forever utilizes sixteen single edition prints to pay homage to the fire, and the landmarks it ruined.
